Just before the silly season really kicks in, with its wall-to-wall trashy Christmas music and Santa merchandising, we have two events for you to enjoy, which will remind you of just how great it is to be in Dublin these days. The first is a one-woman play performed exclusively for us by Carmel Rooney, actress and poet. The second is our monthly Arts Club, back to its original format, that is a night packed with a wide variety of talents to enjoy. This show is so full it is bursting at the seams so please come at 8pm as we will kick off early and you will not want to miss any of it. As usual it is free and all are welcome.
See below for info on both Kilmainham Arts Club forthcoming events:

‘One to Tango’ Thursday 28th Nov. 2013 – 8.p.m.
Patriots Inn, South Circular Rd. Db. 8.
7 euro cover charge (con. 5 euro) Duration Approx 1 hour, Mature Content
Rooney’s character, Siobhain Cleary, an accomplished, sophisticated, volatile academic of ‘a certain age’, wryly intellectualises, and poignantly attempts to give meaning to a sexual encounter she had with a 27 year old ‘lad’, she met in a Dublin pub the previous night. Recounted through words laced with pithy humour and serious reflection using multimedia, poetry and dance, …’tango, it was tango….’
Directed By: Aoife Maguire. Sound: Roli Lowry. Lighting: Scott A. Kelly
