Just a reminder that starting at 8.30pm sharp tonight we have Kilmainham Arts club in the Patriots Inn, Kilmainham. Below is the line-up:

Painter and illustrator FIONA ARYAN has shown her work in both group and solo exhibitions. Her work is influenced by Japanese and eastern art. Fiona will present images of her recent project which centres on foxes. http://fionaaryan.com/

Poet KEVIN BARRINGTON’s first collection, an e-book, I Love the Internet was met with significant critical acclaim. His vidpoems (one of which he will present) have featured in festivals around the world; Visible Verse in Vancouver, Zebra in Berlin and the IndieCork festival. http://barringtonkevin.blogspot.ie/

Photographer RAYMOND BEGGAN presents his images of the birds of the parks, canals and rivers of Dublin. ‘Winged Encounters – The Common Birds of Dublin’ (June 2013) Lilliput Press. ‘The birds you don’t necessarily notice but are the nearest wild animals to you at all times’. http://www.wingedencounters.com/introduction/

KATHRINA RUPIT is a Mexican street artist, living and creating work in Dublin. Her artwork is created on recycled materials using stencils, spray paint, popsicle sticks, fabric, canvas and wood and she will show some of her extraordinary art. http://kathrrina.blogspot.ie/

Upcoming singer songwriter KYLA TOMLINSON (of the bluegrass band The Southwood Pickle Band) will perform a few of her beautiful original songs for us. Kyla is involved with the Meetup group Simply Sing which has restored the joy of singing to her. Her singing style has been likened to that of the Scottish songstress Eddi Reader.

There will also be a short poetry performance by photographer and poet Turlach O’Broin
